I find it weird that all people talk about are accents, blood pools, suitcase, weapon mods and gloves.
Nobody mentions the overpowered subduing mechanic that was introduced in Absolution and it carried over to HITMAN.
What I don't like is there is NO REASON to ever snap someone's neck or even pick the sedative poison from available equipment.
It's just too powerful, be it subduing or throwing hammers at people's heads, it leaves them unconscious for eternity until you finish the mission...
I think we should get anesthetic like in Hitman 2 / Contracts or sedative syringes from Blood Money, these tools would send everyone to sleep for the rest of the mission, but subduing with our own hands or throwing tools at people's heads should have some real time timer like... let's say 10-20 minutes, after that they wake up and tell the guards about what happened to them, even if the victim did not see 47 doing it, they raise the alarm and guards are extremely careful now, perheps all of them are enforcers? I dunno.
I just think we should have this kind of pressure, do you think you can pull the mission off before the poor bastard wakes up? If not, you're gonna have to end him, for your own safety. That results in some points penalty but it gives some more drama to the whole thing. Or you can do some creative thinking and deal with this obstacle without knocking the guy out.
I mean... right now someone's in your way and you just whack them in the head and put him in some conveniently placed body container, problem solved... I don't like that, I don't use snap neck AT ALL because it results in unavoidable -5000 points penalty, there is legitimately NO REASON to do so.
What do you guys think? I think this is the issue that for some reason nobody seems to be adressing.
