With Agent 47 exploring the halls of the Himmapan luxury hotel while the choking grunts of his unfortunate victims reverberate around the walls of the Square Enix booth at Gamescom; it’s fair to say that this has been quite a good week.
The week began with a bang as excited chatter spread throughout the HITMAN community in anticipation of Episode 4: Bangkok.
Once the level released on Tuesday, we were pleased to see plenty of people having a blast as they attempted to take out Mr Cross without causing too much commotion.
Gamescom
Gamescom, the largest gaming convention in Europe, is well underway. We’ve been showing off HITMAN to plenty of new initiates over the last few days, and will continue to do so until the convention centre doors close on Sunday. If you’re planning on coming, make sure to swing by the booth to say hi.
We love seeing people having a blast with HITMAN. Many a mental note is made as we watch how new and existing players take to the role of a (hopefully) silent assassin in Bangkok.
The Class – Shine a Light (going live Thursday evening)
The third and final track from Jordan Cross’ recent EP, Providence, was also published this week. We think it’s pretty good, but then again we’re biased. Be sure to let us know what you think on Twitter/Facebook or the forums. If you haven’t heard it yet, you can check out the track right here. You don’t even need to leave the page.

This week’s live content
In addition to the brand new episode, we also brought a special contract online. Sons of Siam sees Agent 47 looking to eliminate the leaders of a right wing group looking to assert control within Thailand.
This contract was designed with Gamescom attendees in mind, and they’ve been having a blast with it so far. The contract is also available for everyone around the globe to play, as it’s currently listed as a Featured Contract. If you haven’t played it yet, be sure to check it out.
That’s all for this week. We’ll be back next week with more, and as usual, feel free to follow us on Facebook and Twitter to make sure you don’t miss out on the latest HITMAN news.
