Hitman has a chance to become a great game. Unfortunately, there are many things that spoil the fun of the game. Here are few of them. The order does not matter. Feel free to express your opinion.
I arranged a great shootout in the hotel. I went upstairs and what I found out? Nobody even heard a single gunshot. NPCs were doing their job as usual. In the shooting area there were dozens of pistols scattered on the ground. NPCs were running around and begging me, but nobody wanted to defend oneself and did not pick up that damn gun. Oddly, the guard takes time to see me with a gun at a distance of 3 meters. I hide weapon and he can't link me with a massacre.
Walking around with sniper rifle looks to me very suspicious even when you are dressed as a guard. The sniper suitcase needs to return. Rifle stuck to the back looks strange. Even carrying other gun than your fellows should arouse suspicion.
You can't take a set of poisons on a mission but you can carry 10 bricks, wrenches etc.
Blood. Bloody mess. It was so nicely done in Blood Money. OK, the devs added some blood since mission in Paris, but it still looks terrible. No violent at all. Splattered blood on the walls, bullet wounds, suffering. Where's that all? In new Hitman you can shoot your enemy in the knee and disarm him for a while. He gets up and then is running around like crazy as if nothing had happened. You can not leave injured enemy in a heavy agony on the ground. I think I don't need to play Postal to see such things. Hitman is also about killing. The main character is a criminal. And the game should go to be more realistic at some points, right?
Voice acting. Probably there are not many people who like it. I am not able to feel the atmosphere. For example - some players are French and guess how they feel at the Sanguine show? Can they even link it with their country? Sapienza - it was supposed to be an Italian city? It looks like but everyone is speaking English. And the worst, Bangkok. I completely can't feel that I am there - in Bangkok, an Asian country. The hotel staff is slant-eyed, of course, but why the hell they are speaking to me with British accent? They're also fluent in English!
You touch someone by accident and that person is staring at you for a long time even when you walk away. I feel strange.
You can't shoot through slight surfaces (exluding the windows).
