But here, at just past the mid point of season one, our character is already overpowered. Think how hard Paris was without all the stuff we have now, the first time we played. There are a few problems approaching on the horizon. Firstly, after giving us the twin silverballers and the sniper case, there is literally nothing else of use we can get. (Well, I would like a crossbow with a single arrow and a slight wobble, but that's another thread).
We are overloaded. Secondly, the load screen is way too overcrowded as it is. You have to cycle through all this crap to get to the Jager 7 on the far right.
Thirdly, inherently in this game, there are only a few things you really need. A silenced gun, a fiberwire, a sniper rifle, a lock pick and something to throw to distract. That's it. And we have all that already.
I can't even begin to imagine what unlocks they have left for the next two episodes (well, the sniper rifle case, twin silverballers, and some chewing gum that no-one asked for). How are they going to keep coming up with items for another six episodes beyond that? And another six beyond that? 47 will be a walking tank by episode 18.
The solution, as many have said, is to have less items but more customization (a la blood money). Scopes, decals, silencers, clip extensions, etc for your silverballer and sniper. Different suits.
But when the first episode of S02 drops, we should lose all of our equipment and start with an unsilenced pistol, a fiberwire, a lock pick and nothing else. I hope all that junk from S01 doesn't carry over.
