Totally new to the forum, but I've been playing the franchise since its creation in 2000. Probably have months and months of playtime with each game.
I have put in about 20 hours on Hitman currently. That said, I haven't had many issues with disconnects or progress loss in Hitman. But it has happened.
Which brings us to Elusive Targets. Awesome idea. No real hand holding. Just memorization, planning, cunning, and skill. Sweet. But one and done? I believe a much better compromise would be to let us play Elusive Targets plural for 48 hour periods and retry at least 3 times. Mark each Elusive Target off with the skulls from Escalation mode.
The only issue with this is the Diana led Briefing would have to be changed. Which I would be okay with.
Example as follows "Welcome to Paris 47, the Agency has an important target, Harold Paulson. Paulson is a retired technology CEO who has been supplying IAGO with state of the art hardware for months. Paulson seen here has glasses and is left handed. He is rarely seen alone, almost always accompanied by a sibling pair of ex Musad body guards, the Tavis brothers. The Tavis brothers are connected with unsanctioned assassination attempts throughout South America. Paulson and the Tavis brothers are in Paris for the next two days. Good luck 47. I will leave you to prepare."
Basically three chances to halt the connection demons if people do have them, while still giving a decent chance of completing an Elusive Target.
Alternatively, IO could just release them in batches of 5. Getting a connection error and missing out on snagging a cool suit, gun, or item when you are one Elusive Target away from the completed challenge would be extremely annoying. And I hate to say it, but it will happen to people.
Thoughts?
