Improving Season 2, IOI read pls

Okay, I think every single person who has critically played and analysed Hitman and it’s features knows that in turns of gameplay, the game is just terrible in many ways.

For example…
Head Turning, X-Ray Vision, Incredibly powerful breaching charges that can be used to explode fire extinguishers in an instance and open doors like BAM…

I just wanted to make this topic to discuss what should and shouldn’t make it into the next game. I’ll make a few topics and sub-categories to get started. Feel free to suggest your own categories or talk about anything.

View Cones

Where do you think NPC view cones should be placed? Should they stay at the head? Should they be moved to the middle or lower body? Remember: head turning isn’t directly caused by the view cones.

Heads

Should IOI change head movements, or move view cones? Do you think NPC head movements are natural or belong in the game?

Locations

What locations should be added to Season 2? Would they be like Season 1’s maps? Should there be a balance between small and large maps? Should all maps have crowds, or should only some or even none? Would hostile maps like Colorado be good for the game?

Kills and Opportunities

Should unique kills show in cutscenes like they did in Season 1? Should opportunities by default be turned off? Should they even exist? How would they help to eliminate the target? Do players deserve to find out how to kill the targets all by themselves?

Graphics

Should the graphics downgrade, or upgrade? Should the game give players with older computers a chance to play? Would there be any advanced options like Override Memory Safeguards to allow players to minimize settings like Super Sampling?

Blood Pools and Traces

Should NPCs be able to react to blood pool and bloody traces? Should they stay for the effect, or can they be interacted with? Are they able to be cleaned up? If so, how? Would traces de-crease your score if any are left, or if any are found?

Notoriety

Should 47 be tracked down after missions? Should a notoriety bar be added to raise the player’s attention? Would this be optional, and can it be turned off? Can it be de-creased? How? Would you bribe people like you could in Blood Money, or would there be a different system?

Fire and Evacuations

If a fire alarm was going off, would NPCs grab fire extinguishers for the situation? Would you be able to? Would this cause more panic? Would this work if a fire alarm wasn’t going off? Would it still be suspicious if you held the fire extinguisher without a fire alarm going off? What if you picked it up during an evacuation?

Like I said, feel free to suggest topics. Feel free to rant about anything that isn’t here. Disagree or agree with other people’s ideas if you want.

I honestly think the view cones should be minimised, there is no real reason to stop the head turning, as people do that naturally, but what isn’t natural is how many things NPCs can see.
