Okay, but in Sapienza each of the targets also has an entourage. It's clearly a 'thing' now, and I don't like it as a constant thing. It's not about difficulty, the game is not difficult -- it's about options. As 17 notes, all the bodyguards do in essence is funnel you into the handful of ways to shake them. It's a way to limit the player's options. Maybe it would be too easy without them, I don't know, but stapling a couple guys to every target seems trite. It's fine now and again, but not everybody needs to have buddies.
