The amount of blood left by snipers makes them feel satisfying and fun to use, unlike other weapons

Since the game was released I have been particularly vocal about the lack of blood in the game, making the combat and melee kills feel boring and lacking in impact. For example, shooting someone in the head with a 45 caliber pistol while they are in front of a wall, will leave a tiny splash of blood, and sometimes won't leave blood at all. People don't even leave blood pools when killed with body shots, NPCs don't react to blood on the ground, no blood decals left on NPCs after melee kills etc.

I was playing the new sniper escalation and was running around the tower stairwell when one of the cafe workers catches me with the rifle, I quickly shot him in the head in response. I haven't played with the sniper much except at very long range as intended. A massive splatter of blood sprayed on the wall and dripped down, it looked cool as hell, and actually looked like what you would expect when you shoot an enemy in the head, instead of the tiny drops the other weapons have. I tried this once or twice more with a few other guys.

The shots to the head with a sniper rifle feel satisfying not only because of the amount of blood, but the sound of the silenced rifle. It gives off a satifsying "clack" that makes it feel impactful and fun to use.

The pistols and other guns lack this impact. Especially the silenced pistols, they give off a quick "tap" noise and the enemy falls to ground, no impact and they just aren't satisfying to use. Adding more blood could improve this a lot to make the weapons feel like they are actually having a big impact on their target, but the feel of the guns needs tweaking too IMO.
